About Me

Dogs have always been a part of my life. In fact, I have never lived  with only one dog, I guess you could say that I am a pack animal.  Living

with a pack of dogs can be challenging, and giving them all the exercise and time they need to be happy and healthy involves lots of dog stuff.

The 8 dogs that currently call my home their den are an assorted group of mostly rescues. Some of them have jobs and compete in agility competitions, a couple are happy being farm dogs, and my smallest, a cardigan welsh corgi is a Box turtle search and rescue, canine good citizen and therapy dog… needless to say, I stay pretty busy..

The reason I created this website was to help folks like yourself that are  looking for products that work best in Multi-Dog / Multi-Animal  households. I will share with you my experiences with products I thought would last and some products  that totally surprised me in their durability, and help you find them at the best price.

I would like to ask of you that if I ever say anything that captures your interest, that you get involved with my site. I love to talk dog, and if you have an  opinion or interesting story that you would like to share, Please do..! I love feedback in every form.

Not All Dogs are Created Equal

I don’t consider myself a breed snob. Having grown up in the dog show world, and spending the weekends of my youth running around bench shows and fairgrounds filled with all types of dogs, I’d often be heard saying “Some day, I’m going to have one of those”.  As an adult, connected to both veterinarians  and rescues, I find  I never have to look far for a dog that needs me.  Many, many, dogs have been fostered on our little farm…  some of them purebred dogs that were not suitable for the people who acquired them, some desperate at rescues and deemed un-adoptable, and some just show up.

Yes, they are not all created equal, but with a little patience, some basic training, and the help of my wonderful pack, we have been able to help one dog at a time find that special family that each one deserves.

Please leave me a comment below and check back often as I am always updating my sites with new ideas and information. I believe that dogs come to us when we need them and we get the dogs we are supposed to have. I’d love to hear about yours!

Stay Paws-itive  in your training, and anything is possible!
